Drawing from the work of French novelist and writer Alain Robbe-Grillet who was associated with the Nouveau Roman trend, the scenes in Robbe-Grillet’s written works are traced by an excess of fragmented visibilities, descriptions, and repetitions. The method employed by Robbe-Grillet, whereby his shifting position takes on hallucinatory characteristics demonstrates within written language, it's inability to capture total and complete perspective.
